2nd, 1st day of school

After school yesterday, I was informed by Clee's new teacher that the staff underestimated Clee and his placement within the school and he was being transfered to another school starting today.
Normally, being notified in a casual "oh, just to let you know, I think Clee's been transfered to school name here and won't be in my class anymore. What? The principal didn't give you a call? Oh. I would go talk to someone if I were you."  by Clee's teacher would have upset me. But I was glad to hear these words, and after one day of chasing Clee around a classroom while trying to control and teach 15 others, I'm sure his Teacher was thrilled by the news too. She looked exhausted, the poor thing.
So Clee started his first day at his new school today, and I think I'm going to be satisfied with his program. It was a relief to finally speak with someone who knew what Autsim, IEP, PECS, Pica, non verbal and OT meant.
Clee's been such a trooper through all of this. Hopefully no more transfers anytime soon.

What? You did it all on your own! Drats! I guess that means I don't get to fly down there to set them straight! Way to go, Nat!
