This I can do

Here I am, once again, announcing that I'm not the best baker in the world. This should be no surprise to any of you, but evidently it's news to Emme.
She loves to help me bake and she thinks I'm a fantastic baker. Sure, I can whip up a batch of break and bake cookies from the fridge in no time flat. But I'm starting to feel like she needs to branch out away from Toll House and all of it's pre-made doughy goodness. She's (I'm?) getting older and needs more of a challenge, but what can I help her bake that won't be a huge disappointment?
Oh Jello. You never fail me. This was my solution to her baking craves. 15 minutes prep time, no baking required, that's my kind of dessert.
And she loved making it all by herself. Look at her, she rocks and she knows it.

Forget the spoon...
might as well dig in with my face. Typical Andrew, no?
The finished product. Thanks Emme for making us a lovely dessert to go with our dinner. Wait... did I forget about dinner?

Good Job, Emmy! It looks delicious - I want some when I come to Florida. You sure are a pretty baker, too.

That's the way to do it, Natalie. Teach her how to be a little Mama and your set for life. That is until she turns twelve thirteen. Then she'll be retiring on you! (I'm not talking about any one of my kids in particular!)

@ lori-Caroline, caroline caroline. Don't poop out now. You're just getting started! :)

To Eme: keep on baking, my friend. It's fun times. Might I recommend these Chocolate Mint cookies I made the other day that were freakin' fantastic? I'll be posting the recipe soon. And, yes, they're made with all whole wheat flour. That's right. 'Cause I'm awesome.
