Well it seems that ice cream isn't the only thing milking (ha!) the minds over at PETA.
PETA has placed these "Got Autism" billboards across the country in areas where autism is more prevalent (maybe in Utah on I-15?). I'm all for autism awareness and educating the american public about the disorder thats effecting 1 out of every 150 children (ahem, Clee), but I don't know what to feel about this ad campaign.
Have you seen this billboard in your area (Utah)? Do you think it's a good idea? Is PETA just exploiting autism to scare parents who already have the fear of autism away from using cows milk? Even if they were just exploiting autism to get there message across, would it hurt the autism community to have more publicity? Would you think twice before giving your child cows milk after seeing this billboard?

Are they saying this because some kids with autism improve on a casein free diet? If so, they really don't understand.
I think I have seen this but not sure if it was on a bill board or TV. I'll let you know when I find out for sure. PeTA does like scare tactics though.
I would not want to see this billboad. My nonverbal son drinks soy or rice and I am contemplating adding almond and then taking away soy if the almond works out.
Me and my HFA son drink skim milk. I have always due to my asthma.
It was a bill board I saw it again today. Darn PeTA
