But it seemed so real...

This morning at 6:40, I woke up to my alarm, turned it off, and went upstairs to start waking up the herd. I walked into Clee's bedroom where I found sleeping peacefully in this bed:

That should have been the first sign that this was a dream, because this here lovely bed that I'm obsessed with doesn't belong to Clee... yet. I wake him up from his peaceful sleep, then Emme and before you know it, they're dressed and ready to head downstairs. That would be sign number two. Getting out of bed and dressed is always a battle. We float, yes float downstairs into the kitchen were Emme and Clee make their own lunches while I sing "Ob La Di Ob La Da" to them and they are L O V I N G it. Signs three, four, five and six. We head outside to the car and Emme asks me if fog was just thick pockets of moister in a british accent. That's where I wake up... at 7:30. Oops. It really all was just a dream. I blame the alarm here. I obviously can turn it off while in snoozeville, so it's obviously way too easy to turn off.  And thanks to the alarm not waking me up like it's supposed to,  I dreamt about a catchy Beatles song that currently remains in the noggin. Desmond and Molly Jones...

What?! Do you mean to tell me that your kids don't love it when you sing "Ob La Di Ob La Da" for them? Ha!

That sounds like a scary dream to me. But I feel bad for you, but now you know how good it would be if your kids listened to you.( Not saying that they are bad kids!)

A few suggestions, perhaps?

@ The Plaintive's Pleas: Suggest away, perhaps you know of a better alarm clock, or a better song to sing to the kiddos whilst dreaming?

ha! Those are all awesome possum alternatives, but I'm thinking the puzzle one would have gotten my lazy bum out of bed this morning better than the rest. And the website it comes from, bimbambanana? Um, pretty much sums up my lyf...
