Dear Emme,
Hi, Em. Today is your 8th Birthday. You officially turned me into a mother 8 years ago today, and I feel so blessed that you came to us.
I've been having mixed feelings about you turning 8. Apart of me wants to freeze time and just hold you in my arms forever, but slightly bigger part of me wants to continue to watch you grow and share the experiences that we will one day cling on to as great memories we had together.
I've watched you grow from a sweet yet feisty little babe into a sweet yet feisty young lady right before my eyes. And even though I miss my cute chubby cheeked, pig tailed toddler who would sit my lap, with a pile of Sesame Street books for me to read for hours, I'm enjoying raising the determined, sassy, thoughtful, beautiful, all around wonderful girl who you are today.
But I must admit, I love it when I catch a glimpse of that little toddler that I miss through the facial expressions you make now, and I will always treasure that.

Happy Birthday, Em!

We love you!

Happy Birthday Em!!

Btw, I'm 20 and my mom still has moments where she runs over and kisses my cheeks and says "you still look like the same little Molly!"

Lol

Yup! She had a pretty great birthday. And some nice presents, might I add. Speaking(typing) of which, where did you get that tennis racket for Em? It is so cute and ever since we went to the park to play tennis I want to get my own. AskRex if he wants me to clean his car for a tennis racket when we come in a few weeks.I am a GREAT car cleaner just in case you are interested...
