my kind of perfect

Allow me to set the scene. It's raining... hard. More like pouring golf ball sized raindrops actually. The sounds of thunder that are far enough away for me to enjoy. Emme, Clee, and I walking home from the bus stop, huddled beneath our glorious oversized umbrella. Emme and I sing "Singing In The Rain" along to the beat of those golfball sized raindrops as they hit the top of our glorious oversized umbrella while Clee tries to catch the drops in the palm of his hand and laughs when he succeeds.
I love moments like this. They're my kind of perfect.

that does sound perfect! when i was a kid, i remember going outside to play in some of those thunderstorms. even as a mom, i've given my kids umbrellas and we've danced and sang on my deck.

Seriously perfect. I am jealous. "Singing in the Rain" is my all time fav movie, by the way.

I love walking and singing in the rain but no one else loves the singing part.
