I'm glowing green from excitement

It was pretty much better than anticipated, and I had extremely high hopes. It was wonderfully spellbinding. Emme and I went to see Wicked  last night as a early Birthday/mother's day gift. I've been planning to see it in NYC for going on three years , and figured since I don't live anywhere close to NYC anymore, I'll be probably waiting another three years to actually go. When I found out it was touring in the dirty south, I jumped on the opportunity to finally see it, grabbed my Emme and we headed to OZ.
When we got there, we realized we were the only ones who weren't dressed up for the occasion. Ha. I mean, there were ladies in ball gowns. B O R I N G. We were just like Elphaba. Just a couple of gals, standing out like we were green... We pretty much know how to make an entrance.
Emme loved it just as much as I did. Her favorite part was when Elphaba flew in the musical number "Defying Gravity" {brought tears to my eyes} and she loved how funny and perky Glinda {"Gah"linda} was. We both loved her beginning and ending gown. That's right. This girl loves her  big, extravagant, and sparkly gowns.
Wicked was wicked awesome, and I plan to go again and again and again... I'm a sucker for a good musical.

ps: "35 dollars for a childrens "I heart OZ shirt"? Girl you so crazy." was my favorite stranger at the souvenir booth quote. She's right, it is crazy.
