Memorial Day

Elaine took Emme and Andrew to a local cemetery today, to honor our country's veterans.
They were in the company of several war veterans who came to pay tribute to their fallen friends and loved ones who once stood beside them as they fought for our country.
On this day, we remember the heroic men and women who served and died for our country and our freedom.
I am so grateful to live in the land of the free and home of the brave.

I found these on the local news website.
Enjoy.

These are great pictures. Especially the one of Emme sitting by the cross...definately a kodak moment.

Loving these pictures. Who took them? I love that Andrew's in his jammies. Although, those jammies look warm for a May day in Florida, no?

These pictures tug at my heart. Were these in the paper? So cute!
BTW, my class for Autism is awesome, and I am learning sooooo much. Can't wait to see Mr. Clee again! This class is what I have been waiting for since October of 2007!

The dirty south paper man took these photos. They're so cute, right?! Yes, it was too hot for that boy to be in his long jammies, but we really can't argue with him. We won't win. And short jammies won't do. They have to be long jammies. Oy.

We can't wait to see y'all again either. I need your great wisdom, Lori.

Andrew looks like he is really paying attention in that last picturre. And thats so cool how someone took "secret" pics of them.

These are great pictures I hope you can get copies from the paper. Did you get a copy of the article or were they just pictures. I wouldn't be able to resist taking pictures of these cute kids either.
