The American Academy of Pediatrics' journal Pediatrics found that parent reported autism prevalence rate is now 1 in every 91 American children, including one in 58 boys.

The prevalence in 2002, the year Clee was born was 1 in every 500. In 2004, the year he was diagnosed 1 in every 250.

That's a high percentage rate. I'm assuming this is all children who are anywhere on the Autism spectrum, no?

Yes, it's including children across the spectrum.

I know this was not a study but a poll but thats a high number.
