santa came

As the kids slept, Santa prepared the stockings and placed the gifts under the tree for Christmas morning.

With all of the excitement, can you believe we actually had to wake this sleepy head up?
Any other morning he'd be up and at 'em no later than 5 am. He chose Christmas morning to sleep in.

Santa worked extremely hard to get the items on Andrew's list, and the squeals and smiles made it totally worth it.

Number one on his list was an Ecto 1.
Three words: thank you Hallmark.

... needless to say he was thrilled when he saw that box.
Andrew declared it to be the coolest thing ever after discovering that his Ecto 1 even played the Ghostbusters theme song with a simple push of a button.

Clee's beloved DVD player had taken a turn for the worse a week ago. It completely stopped working. It was laid to rest in our garbage can. He was devastated.
With a little Christmas magic, he was introduced to a new one, and they've been inseparable ever since.

This was our first Christmas where Clee actually opened his gifts all by himself, and actually looked like he enjoyed what he unwrapped. What can I say? He is a stud.

Emme gave me a two page front to back list of things she wanted back in November. I believe the grand total came to 207 items. Girl was briefly living in a fantasy world.
Come Christmas morning, she was happy with what she got on the list. Even if it was just a small fraction of what she had hoped for.
She thought she was getting a box of brownie mix. Santa was sneaky and snuck a webkins in the box instead.
Sly move Santa.

Emme and I both got fancy new cameras...

This was what I consumed over a two day span. Christmas feast, win!
One thing nice I'll say about Walmart is they sure know how to capture a ladies heart with these Diet Coke ornament bottles.

Rex and Lane came over, and helped break in some new wii games. The poor wii never got a break for the entire weekend.

Andrew now has his very own black wiimote to help him blast and capture "ghostes".

Finally the good people of New York City can rest at ease from the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

I hope your Christmas was as laid back and wonderful as ours.
