we survived the spring break.

The kids had their spring break last week. My mom was here to help with entertaining the three kiddos. Elaine invited us to St George Island along with Meme, Karen, Brittany and her little crew. The kids do love the beach so how could we resist? It was a long ride to get there. I believe Meme said it best when she exclaimed "Are we're driving to the end of the earth?" Well said, Meme. The drive was worth it, though. We had fun in the sun and that's what mattered.

The kids had a grand time kicking in a sand alligator someone had made prior (look. If you're gonna leave your sand sculptures unsupervised, be prepared for someone to come along and ruin it. Just sayin'), being buried in sand, swimming in the ocean, freaking Grandma out by touching dead jelly fish, and stimming on sand. It doesn't get any better than that, folks.

We ended our trip to the beach with a few shopping stops where Grandma got sand dollars for the kids.

Stay classy, St. George Island. xoxo

So fun! Everyone I talked to about the day trip to the beach raved about how fun it was. Even Meme said so, but she must have forgotten about the long ride- she was telling me about how close Elaine lives to the beach :) Bless her.
